Some of those include: robot localization and tracking for NASA, information security for the Federal Reserve, object recognition for the US Postal Service, threat detection for the military, video indexing and retrieval for search engines, image analysis for cancer screening, and computer vision for wearable computing prototypes.
These days, his work is focused on medical deep learning and building models for computer-aided diagnosis in medical imaging, building tools that help both people and models manage the complexity of medical data.
